This charming little winery turned out to be one of my favorite stops in Lake Chelan. It is the furthest point out (20 mins) on the north shore of the lake than the other wineries, so I recommend starting here and working your way back to Chelan for dinner.  Tildio Winery is perched high on a hill with a stunning view of their gardens and Wapato Lake.

The craftsman style tasting room is neat and roomy enough for several small groups. You will find the winery owners and winemakers pouring your wine and more than willing to share stories of how Tildio came to be. They focus their wine making efforts on a few choice varietal and blended wines, some estate and others sourced from outside the AVA, but all well priced.

Tildio has a lovely deck where you can kick back with a picnic lunch, order a bottle of wine and enjoy the scenery. You can also order an anti-pasti platter in advance for your group to nibble on with a glass of red or white wine.

Tildio Winery offers their tasting room for rent  to small event and wedding parties. They also have live music on Saturday nights during the summer touring season. Put this winery on your touring list.
